Job Description
Deputy Sales Director – Desk Manager (Automobile)
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented leader to fill the position of Deputy Sales Director (Desk Manager). You will be responsible for energizing the sales team and providing high-level support in customer loyalty and portfolio development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist advisors in closing transactions and support them during negotiations.
- Lead and contribute to the training of new sales advisors; identify the team’s training needs and plan appropriate actions.
- Monitor the progress of trainees and new sellers (training reports and probation periods).
- Set ambitious but realistic monthly goals for each advisor and track their achievement.
- Design and oversee improvement programs for underperforming advisors.
- Collaborate on exchanges and flows between dealerships.
- Approve transactions in accordance with directives and delegated authority.
- Stay informed about new products, programs, and promotions from manufacturers and financial institutions.
- Cover the sales director’s duties in their absence.
- Maintain an effective customer development system and ensure sales processes comply with current regulations.
- Actively participate in priority transactions and close deals when necessary.
- Follow up and coach the sales staff.
Desired Profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in automobile sales.
- Management experience in the automotive field.
- Bilingual French – English (ability to communicate with English-speaking clients).
- Valid driver’s license.
