Mechanic – Maintenance and Repair of the Fleet

Purpose Under the supervision of the Mechanical Coordinator, ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of the entire company fleet. Through technical expertise and quality of work, contribute to maintaining operations, reducing breakdowns, and optimizing productivity. Ensure that each vehicle, trailer, and equipment complies with safety standards and is ready to support daily activities.

Your Missions

• Perform preventive maintenance on the fleet (light and heavy vehicles, trailers, machinery, and forklifts): oil changes, filters, brakes, tires, belts, etc.
• Carry out seasonal tire changes.
• Conduct pre-inspections required by the SAAQ and ensure vehicle compliance at all times.
• Keep the mechanical workshop clean and organized.
• Perform occasional welding work.
• Diagnose and repair systems including: gasoline engines, anti-pollution systems, hybrid or electric vehicles, air conditioning and heating systems, fuel injection systems (gasoline), electrical and electronic systems, ECM/PCM/ECU programming, suspension and steering, hydraulic braking systems.

Candidate Profile

Skills and Qualifications

• Technical diploma in automotive mechanics or equivalent recognized training.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with light and heavy vehicles (an asset).
• Driver’s license: minimum Class 5; Class 3 preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic diagnosis and injection systems; ability to program ECM/ECU.

• Salary: $26.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience
