Job Description We are looking for an experienced Mechanic / Technician – Journeyman in diagnostics and automotive electrical systems to join our high-performing team. Under the supervision of the shop manager, you will perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on electrical and electronic systems to ensure reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults on vehicles using modern diagnostic tools and manufacturer procedures.
• Work on ignition, fuel injection, starting, charging, safety systems, as well as low and high voltage circuits.
• Diagnose faults related to sensors, actuators, modules, and CAN bus; propose and carry out necessary repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and major repairs according to Nissan standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the service team and communicate clearly with customers about repairs and timelines.
• Document interventions, parts used, and time taken in the management system.
• Participate in continuous training and suggest process improvements in the workshop.
• Key technical tasks: diagnosis and repair of anti-pollution systems; diagnosis and repair of air conditioning and heating systems; programming ECM/PCM/ECU.

Desired Profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in diagnostics and automotive electrical systems.
• Training or diploma in automotive mechanics; journeyman status preferred.
• Solid knowledge of embedded electrical and electronic systems; experience with Nissan vehicles is a plus; knowledge of hybrid/electric systems appreciated.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools (OBD scanner, multimeters, oscilloscope, manufacturer software).
• Team spirit, customer service skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in French; operational English appreciated.
• Ability to work standing, respect deadlines and safety procedures.
