The Position The Parts Clerk actively participates in customer service, order management, and inventory maintenance. They help provide fast, professional, and efficient service to both customers and internal departments.
Main Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers at the counter, by phone, and via email
- Advise customers in locating parts and accessories
- Sell parts and prepare price quotes
- Search for parts in electronic catalogs and computer systems
- Order parts from authorized suppliers
- Track orders and inform customers of delivery times
- Receive, verify, and store delivered parts
- Maintain inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with service and sales departments to meet their parts needs
- Keep the work environment clean, organized, and safe
- Perform any other related tasks requested by the supervisor
Profile Sought
- Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written)
- At least 3 years of experience as a parts clerk or sales advisor
- Experience in parts department is a significant asset
- Knowledge of Kubota, Hiab, or Moffatt products is an asset
- Experience in agricultural, industrial, or construction sectors is an asset
- Knowledge of the IntelliDealer system is a significant asset
- Excellent computer skills
- Customer service oriented, with a strong sense of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously and work in a team while managing priorities independently
