Rental Renewal Manager

Context Fortier Ford is a new dealership within the GENX group, experiencing significant growth in the automotive sector. We are seeking a strategic and operational leader to oversee the renewal of leases for a demanding and optimized client portfolio.

Job Objective Lead the lease renewal strategy and operations, ensure customer loyalty and retention, and maximize revenue while guaranteeing a first-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the lease renewal strategy to optimize the retention rate and customer lifetime value.
• Manage a portfolio of lease contracts and coordinate efforts with sales, finance, and service teams to obtain quick and advantageous renewals.
• Analyze customer data and KPIs, prepare reports for management, and propose optimization actions.
• Implement proactive renewal campaigns, suggest renewal, maintenance, or relocation options, and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Maintain and enhance customer relationships and ensure the quality of information in the CRM.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements related to leases and data protection.
• Act as a customer experience ambassador and promote a results-oriented and cross-departmental collaboration culture.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in lease renewal, account management, or an equivalent role; experience in the automotive or leasing sector is a plus.
• Strong experience in managing and developing a large client portfolio (e.g., 8,000+), with measurable results.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Relevant degree (bachelor’s in administration, finance, marketing, or related field); specific training in leasing would be advantageous.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and data analysis software (Excel and related suites).
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment focused on results and customer service.
