Automotive Clerk/Technician Accountant – Full Time

Job Description Join the Horizon Automotive Group, a major player in the automotive sector in Quebec, and ensure the reliability and efficiency of accounting processes within our dealerships. You will work in a dynamic environment focused on service and operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities

• Record sales files (new, used, and commercial vehicles) and follow up on transactions related to inventories.
• Record and account for daily operations.
• Account for supplier invoices and ensure their reconciliation.
• Verify and analyze commercial transactions (receipts and disbursements reports, sales contracts, parts/service reports).
• Reconcile bank accounts daily.
• Prepare monthly statements and send them to clients.
• Analyze certain general ledger accounts, note and verify unusual entries.
• Participate in the monthly closing of accounting journals and the general ledger.
• Compile reports and participate in special projects as needed.
• Organize and file accounting documents, optimize processes, and support teams.
• Perform other tasks in accordance with management directives.

Candidate Profile Qualifications

• DEC, DES, or equivalent technical diploma in accounting.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the automotive sector.
