About the position
We are seeking a Workshop Foreman/Supervisor capable of overseeing the mechanical workshop and ensuring quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will manage daily activities in coordination with parts, service, and reception departments, while ensuring compliance with procedures and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the mechanical workshop to achieve production, quality, and service objectives.
- Plan, organize, and assign daily tasks, establish priorities, and monitor performance indicators.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate technicians and attendants; foster a safe and continuous improvement-oriented work environment.
- Collaborate with parts, service, and reception departments to optimize workflows, deadlines, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety standards, and quality standards; propose operational process improvements.
- Generate operational reports and communicate results to management.
- Adapt resources according to peak periods and service priorities.
Profile
- Minimum of 3 years experience in automobile workshop management or service shop.
- Proven leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate a team.
- Knowledge of repair processes, diagnostics, and inventory management; strong sense of quality and customer service.
- Skills in planning, organization, and problem-solving under pressure.
- Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
- Degree in automotive technician or equivalent experience; valid driver's license.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement practices.
