Technical Advisor – Automotive After-Sales Service

Saint-Laurent Hyundai, a Hyundai dealership in the Montreal region, is looking for a passionate and service-oriented Technical Advisor to strengthen its dynamic team.

Missions and Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the service department, identify their needs and priorities for maintenance or repairs.
• Propose technical options and provide clear and transparent estimates.
• Collaborate with technicians to plan work and follow up on files.
• Explain the work performed, deadlines, and costs in an accessible manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety standards, and Hyundai standards.
• Manage appointments and maintain proactive communication with customers throughout the process.
• Track work and ensure the opening/closing of work orders.
• Answer calls and provide customer service and follow-up.
• Develop sales opportunities for related products and services.

Profile

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position, ideally in the automotive sector or after-sales service.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance and repair practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly and facilitate customer decision-making.
• Good organizational skills and team spirit; proficiency with service management software is an advantage.
• Fluent in French; English is an asset.
• Valid driver's license and availability to work during the service hours.
