Sales Advisor – Recreational Vehicles
Dion Sports, a dealer specializing in motorcycles and off-road vehicles based in Saint-Raymond, is seeking a passionate Sales Advisor who loves motorized sports and customer service to join a dynamic team.
About the Position
On the front line of the customer experience, you will understand clients' needs and recommend the most suitable recreational vehicle, equipment, or accessory. You will manage the complete sales cycle, from demonstrations to delivery, including test drives and financing options. You will collaborate with the service and parts teams to provide a seamless purchasing process and excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and advise customers on our full range (Honda, Can-Am, Spyder, Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo, Lynx, Princecraft, Mercury, and others).
- Present, demonstrate, and test products when possible; explain features, warranties, and financing options.
- Manage the entire sales process: qualifying needs, personalized proposals, preparing documents, delivery, and post-sale follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets while ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
- Collaborate with the finance, service, and parts teams to ensure a consistent customer journey.
- Keep the showroom and demo area clean, attractive, and well merchandised.
- Update customer records in the CRM and follow up on leads and opportunities.
- Participate in product training and stay informed about industry innovations.
- Handle deliveries and explanations of sold vehicles; follow up with potential clients; manage sales of new and used vehicles.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally in the automotive or recreational vehicle sectors.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service orientation, and team spirit; good listening and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of recreational products or quick adaptability to technical information; technical training is a plus.
- Proficiency in French; knowledge of English is an asset.
- Good computer skills (CRM/POS, MS Office).
- Valid driver’s license; availability for flexible hours, including Saturdays and peak seasons.
