Workshop Storekeeper – Parts Clerk (Auto Center)

About the Position You support the mechanics by ensuring the supply of parts and tires, managing inventory, and facilitating communication between the counter, the workshop, and suppliers. You use computerized systems to search for parts, prepare quotes, and monitor stock levels.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage parts and tires through computerized systems: search, quotes, orders, and inventory control.
• Prepare estimates for work and follow up with technical advisors and technicians.
• Respond quickly to inquiries and act as a link between the counter, the auto center, and suppliers.
• Support technical advisors by phone and at the counter as needed.
• Perform procurement and ordering of parts, tires, and workshop supplies; collaborate with the purchasing department.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the parts and tires department and apply appropriate controls.
• Handle customer reception and warehouse management when necessary.

Desired Profile

• Experience in the automotive field or relevant knowledge (an asset).
• Minimum of 1 year customer service experience.
• Good proficiency with computer tools.
• Valid driver's license.
• Structured mindset, good interpersonal skills, and effective communication abilities.
