Job Description
Position: Automotive Mechanic / Technician – Nissan Saint-Jérôme
Location: Saint-Jérôme, Quebec, Canada
Nissan Saint-Jérôme is seeking a passionate and reliable Automotive Mechanic / Technician, with at least 1 year of experience, to join our workshop.
Job Description
- Diagnose and repair light and utility vehicles following Nissan procedures
- Perform preventive maintenance and parts replacement according to standards and best practices
- Conduct road tests and verify the proper functioning of repaired systems
- Accurately document interventions and ensure compliance with workshop safety standards
- Work as part of a team and provide quality customer service
Technical Responsibilities
- Diagnosis and repair of engine (gasoline) and related systems
- Diagnosis and repair of anti-pollution systems
- Diagnosis and repair of hybrid or electric vehicles
- Diagnosis and repair of air conditioning/heating systems
- Diagnosis and repair of fuel injection systems
- Electrical and electronic diagnostics and repairs
- ECM / PCM / ECU programming
- Suspension and steering repairs
- Hydraulic brake system repairs
Desired Profile
- Diploma in automotive mechanics or equivalent training
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in automotive mechanics/technician
- Knowledge of electronic systems and diagnostic capabilities (OBD, etc.)
- Strong customer service skills, team spirit, and professional rigor
- Valid driver's license
- Fluent in French; English is a plus
