Auto Mechanic / Technician (Saint-Hubert) – Action Mitsubishi

Action Mitsubishi, a recognized Mitsubishi dealership in Saint-Hubert, is looking for a qualified Auto Mechanic / Technician to strengthen its high-performance team.

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain Mitsubishi vehicles and customer vehicles according to manufacturer procedures and workshop quality standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs.
• Use diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to identify and resolve failures.
• Prepare clear and precise work reports and communicate findings to the team and customer service.
• Maintain order, cleanliness, and safety in the workshop and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure an optimal customer experience and timely service.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on modern automotive technologies and systems.
• Perform specialized interventions (indicative list): diagnostics and repairs of gasoline engines, anti-pollution systems, hybrid/electric vehicles, air conditioning and heating, injection system, electrical and electronic systems, ECM/PCM/ECU programming, suspension and steering, and hydraulic brake systems.

Desired Profile / Requirements

• DEC in automotive mechanics or equivalent certification (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of engine systems, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools and specific software.
• Good communication skills and team spirit.
• Valid driver’s license; flexibility for flexible hours.
• Fluency in French; English is an asset.
