Mechanic / Technician

Automotive Mechanic / Technician – Permanent, Full-Time

Location: Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Quebec

Canadian Tire Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic / Technician to strengthen its team.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles using modern diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections, and identify parts to replace.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures, and follow up on interventions.
• Comply with safety standards and work procedures; maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Write clear service reports and ensure quality customer service.

Areas of Intervention

• Diagnosis and repair of gasoline engines
• Anti-pollution systems and fuel injection systems
• Hybrid and electric vehicles
• Air conditioning and heating systems
• Electrical and electronic systems; ECM/PCM/ECU programming
• Suspension, steering, and hydraulic braking systems
• General maintenance and servicing

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive mechanics
• Relevant diploma (DEP in automotive mechanics, AEC, or equivalent)
• Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of modern vehicles
• Analytical skills, quick diagnostics, and problem-solving ability
• Valid driver's license; willingness to work as needed
• Good communication skills and team spirit
