Education and qualifications

• Vocational diploma (DEP) in automotive mechanics or equivalent
• Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of modern vehicles
• Ability to read and interpret technical bulletins and diagrams
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools
• Valid driver's license
• Bilingual French/English considered an asset

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Hyundai vehicles and other brands according to manufacturer standards
• Perform preventive maintenance, mechanical repairs, and electrical/electronic interventions
• Read and interpret technical bulletins, diagrams, and procedures; propose sustainable and effective solutions
• Use diagnostic tools, conduct road tests after interventions
• Estimate parts and time, communicate with service advisors and customers as needed
• Adhere to safety standards and workshop cleanliness; follow internal procedures
• Participate in quality control and continuous process improvement
• Document interventions in the management system and ensure warranty compliance
• Technical areas: engine diagnosis and repair (gasoline), anti-pollution systems, hybrid/electric, air conditioning, injection, electrical/electronic, ECM/PCM/ECU programming, suspension and steering, hydraulic braking

Desired profile

• Minimum experience required: 3 years in automotive mechanics (workshop/dealership)
• DEP in automotive mechanics or equivalent; proficiency with diagnostic tools and mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
• Ability to read technical manuals and follow procedures
• Customer service orientation, team spirit, and excellent communication skills
• Valid driver's license; availability for summer hours
• Bilingualism (French/English) appreciated
