Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of vehicles to ensure their performance, reliability, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair gasoline engines and related systems
• Diagnose and repair anti-pollution systems
• Diagnose and repair hybrid or electric vehicles
• Diagnose and repair air conditioning and heating systems
• Diagnose and repair fuel injection systems
• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems; programming ECM/PCM/ECU
• Repair suspension and steering
• Maintain and repair hydraulic braking systems

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (mandatory)
• Experience in general mechanics (mandatory)
• Diesel experience (an asset)
• Experience with manual transmission (mandatory)
• Automotive Parity Committee skills card (CPA) or equivalent
• Knowledge of Ford products (an asset)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a mechanic/technician
