Mega Kia Brossard, a Kia dealership, is looking for an apprentice wheel aligning mechanic to join a professional and growing team.
About the Position Join a team dedicated to the maintenance and repair of new and used Kia vehicles. Under the supervision of experienced technicians, you will actively participate in diagnostics, repairs, and adjustments, focusing on wheel alignment and mechanical and electronic systems. You will help prepare vehicles for testing, reconditioning, and ensure adherence to quality and safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist mechanics in diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Participate in replacing parts and adjusting mechanical and electronic systems.
- Contribute to wheel alignment and adjustments according to specifications.
- Prepare vehicles for testing and road tests under supervision.
- Maintain order, cleanliness, and safety of the workshop.
- Document interventions in internal systems and follow internal procedures.
- Collaborate with the team and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Skills and Profile Sought
- CPA license (Montreal) required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in the field or equivalent training.
- Strong interest in wheel alignment and automotive technical interventions.
- Ability to work daytime hours; availability on Fridays until 2:30 PM.
- Team spirit, rigor, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn in a constantly expanding environment.
- Willingness to work in an air-conditioned and renovated workshop.
