Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice)

Job Offer — Apprentice (or Trainee) Mechanic Year 3 (2 positions)

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and Inspections

  • Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, suspension, tire installation, etc.).
  • Conduct inspections related to warranties and manufacturer recalls.
  • Inspect used vehicles.

• Diagnostics and Repairs

  • Diagnose problems using computer and electronic tools.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs.
  • Carry out major repairs (transmission, engine, differential, etc.) depending on your skills.

• Technical Support and Communication

  • Open tickets with the manufacturer’s technical line and follow up on their resolution.
  • Write QMRs (Quality Mechanical Reports) to document anomalies and facilitate vehicle improvements.
  • Collaborate with parts and service departments to ensure efficient repairs.
  • Read service bulletins daily.

• Compliance with Standards and Safety

  • Apply manufacturer standards and repair procedures.
  • Respect safety instructions and environmental regulations.
  • Accurately document work in vehicle records.

Requirements

• DEP in Automotive Mechanics or equivalent experience
• 2 years of mechanic experience
• Skills card
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience with Subaru is a plus

Conditions and Benefits

• Day shift: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Friday 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
• Night shift: Tuesday to Thursday, 5 p.m. – 2:30 a.m.; Friday 1 p.m. – 10 p.m. (36 hours/week, paid as 40 hours)
