Financial Services Manager - Terrebonne Ford
A high-volume automobile dealership located on the North Shore of Montreal, Terrebonne Ford is seeking a passionate and results-oriented Financial Services Manager to lead the financing and insurance solutions related to vehicle sales.
About the Opportunity
You will be responsible for all financial activities related to sales, aiming to provide an exceptional customer experience while maximizing departmental profitability. You will contribute to optimizing our financial processes, training teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial activities related to vehicle sales (financing, insurance, and related products).
- Define and implement strategies to optimize financial processes and increase sales of financing products.
- Work closely with the sales team to offer tailored and compliant financial solutions.
- Analyze financial performance, prepare reports, and recommend improvement actions.
- Train and coach the sales team on financing and insurance products.
- Ensure compliance with standards and regulations regarding financial services.
- Supervise the documentation management of transactions (forms, credits, contracts) and review credit requests.
- Manage the collection and tracking of financing and insurance fees.
Profile Sought
- Degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the automotive sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while providing exceptional customer service.
- Team spirit and ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
Skills and Tools
- Proficiency with SAAQClic, Merlin (Sales), and Activix CRM systems; strong general computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of automotive financing and insurance processes and the requirements of financial institutions.
