Operations Director of Rental – HGrégoire (Saint-Eustache)

We are looking for an automotive rental expert to lead the development, strategy, and performance of rental activities across all HGrégoire dealerships. Join a growing automotive group and directly contribute to business growth.

About the position

• Contract type: Full-time, permanent
• Location: On-site, at HGrégoire facilities, Saint-Eustache
• Compensation: Competitive base salary + performance-based bonus
• Hours: In person

Responsibilities

• Manage the rental contract portfolio: monitor deadlines, renewals, and early cancellations
• Develop and implement loyalty strategies to maximize renewals and acquire new contracts
• Support, train, and assist sales advisors on rental programs (residual values, financing rates, scenarios)
• Collaborate with the finance department (F&I) to structure competitive and compliant rental offers
• Stay informed on manufacturer programs, promotions, rates, and residual values
• Analyze portfolio performance and generate necessary follow-ups and reports
• Contribute to achieving growth and profitability objectives for rentals
• Work with other departments to provide a seamless customer experience

Candidate Profile

• Experience: 3 to 5 years in automotive rental
• Languages: Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written (intermediate-advanced level)
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field (a plus)
• Additional experience: Portfolio management of clients or rental contracts (highly desired)
• Technical skills: Proficiency with CRM and automotive transaction management tools
• Professional qualities: Excellent negotiation, customer service, and communication skills
• Financial analysis: Ability to interpret data and propose suitable solutions
• Valid driver's license
• Autonomy, team spirit, and organizational skills
